Our 16-week rock band program takes students through the process of learning and rehearsing in their own band! Each rehearsal is 60 minutes long, once a week, and is conducted by school founder, director, and guitarist Scott Miller, who is our most experienced teacher and who is also a seasoned performer. At the end of the 16-week term, the students will perform a rock concert attended by family, friends, and the general public! Each group is open to 3 guitar players, 2 bass players, 2 keyboardists, 2 vocalists, and 2 drummers.

We typically place the students into one of four groups based on playing ability as well as age. The classes are open to both male and female students. All-girls bands, all-boys bands, and all-adult bands are also available. The age groups for Rock Band are:

• 8-11 years old
• 12-14 years old
• 15-18 years old
• Adult – 19 and older
